Limited (?) edition orange head caps - not sure how long we will make these for. Orange is taken from the orange arm that Chappie gets in the movie Chappie - go see it!
If you are wearing a wig on your Smart Doll then the color should not matter. If you are going for the Jean Luc-picard look then the orange may look odd but the parting line will probably bother you first anyway.
Fits most Smart Doll heads apart from Eiji, Crimson, Chitose Classic and a mystery head that was found in Chaos - that we can't talk much about.
Please note that these do not fit any Smart Doll heads perfectly - maybe slightly smaller or larger.
These are not outlet quality but we put items in Chaos that will confuse newbies.
Chaos items are only available for existing Smart Doll owners
Chaos Items are rejected products that would have been sold in Mirai Store Tokyo which closed due to the 2020 pandemic.
For the foreseeable future, Chaos items are only available to existing Smart Doll owners who have ordered from this site. If a newbie orders any of the Chaos items then their entire order will be cancelled and restocked for others to buy.
If you are a newbie but are still interested in Chaos items then you may order after you have purchased a Smart Doll - but this will be on your second purchase - you can't add Chaos items with your first Smart Doll purchase.
We cannot accept orders from folks who have purchased a Smart Doll elsewhere. The reason is we cant validate that they purchased from a legit source and many who claim that they have a Smart Doll end up being fraudulent orders.
The following applies to all Chaos items
Chaos items are all defective rejects that used to go in the outlet section in Mirai Store. You cannot choose the contents. The only thing that chooses the contents is Chaos. Folks who leave requests in the "order notes" asking for particular items to be removed or added by saying "I want blah" or "I do not want blah" will have their entire order canceled and refunded immediately without warning - the item will then be restocked online for others to buy. Hands or Vinyl bundles may contain parts that have flash attached to them - this is because we spotted a defect before we cut the flash. In most cases we waste time cutting the flash and then discover that the part is not useable.
We do not dust each and every part before packing like we normally do. We do not check for spiders that may have crawled inside a part so if you get bitten by a spider and find yourself with the ability to climb walls please don't blame me.
You are free to paint the fingernails or tattoo the parts and re-sell etc - no need to ask permission as they belong to you now. If you feel that you got a load of parts that you don't want then feel free to re-sell them.
Chaos items are all packed in recycled apparel bags which may have stickers on them unrelated to the contents. Bags may have creases on them. All Chaos items are non refundable regardless of the quantity/color/shape/condition. Photos are only an example of what could your bundle could look like. Prices are subject to fluctuate at anytime.
The buyer has to agree to a legal notice stating that they understand these terms or they wont be able to proceed to checkout. If you feel that the content of these items are unfair or incorrectly priced, please close the browser window and head to YouTube to search for "never gonna give you up."
Chaos items do not come with warranty nor are they returnable.
Why are outlet items now available online?
For many years I was hesitant to sell outlet stuff online because even though I would label them as "outlet" with flashing lights and list up all the defects, people would still complain - people complain that our shoes are not evenly weathered after "reading" the description on the product detail page which clearly states "do not buy if you do are looking for an evenly weathered item." Just another day in Smart Doll Land.
Before the Corona Era, when I boarded a plane, I'm always asked to throw away my bottle of water - this is because someone somewhere once upon a time boarded a plane, doused themselves in petrol from a water bottle and then lit a match. Now because of this one person, everybody on the planet has to throw away their water bottle before boarding a plane.
And then there was the one person who put explosives in their shoe before boarding a plane - now we all have to take our shoes off when going through security.
I don't want to continue to make everybody else suffer because of elitist hobbyists that swarm together to take pot shots about uneven weathered items or wigs which have bumps in them. I will just have to continue to deal with it by writing the usual long explanatory post in the hope that they jump ship and take some sympathizers with them. There are so many great doll brands out there - for the life of me I don't know why they keep coming back to Smart Doll.
For this reason I have decided to put the items online - for now. Outlet items are comparatively priced or slightly cheaper to what they would cost in Mirai Store located in Tokyo. This is because of the effort needed to not only pack and store but also do inventory management. And then there is managing complaints from folks who will still contact us anyway saying that the outlet items are "not perfect outlet items" - the risk factor is much higher than just leaving them in a box in our store.
We can't manage the sales of the outlet as single items as it would be way too costly for us. There are only a limited number of items available per month - it really depends on how many rejects crop up.
Lastly - do not buy Chaos items as folks are usually highly disappointed - usually because they didn't read the description or they had their own expectations of what the items should have been.
