At the same time, some folks have moved on to other hobbies, so we’d love the new collage to reflect the community as it is today. It will eventually replace the current collage, so everyone is welcome to participate again—even if you appeared in a previous one. \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block paragraph-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e If you’d like to be part of it, send your selfie to the Smart Doll support email address—the same one we use to contact you about shipping and other order-related stuff. \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block paragraph-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e A few tips: \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block list-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e Choose your favorite Smart Doll if you have several. Once cropped into a small square, multiple dolls end up looking like tiny pixies and are barely visible. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e A selfie with your Smart Doll close to your face usually works best, giving both of you the most room in the final crop. We’ve also successfully used photos with \u003cstrong\u003etwo\u003c\/strong\u003e Smart Dolls, as long as they’re snuggled up close to your face. :-) \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e Have a look at the previous collage to get an idea of the types of photos that work well. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e Please send the original, highest-resolution image you have. Avoid screenshots, heavy filters, or blurry photos. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block paragraph-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e In the past, we couldn’t use some submissions because they were heavily filtered, low resolution, blurry, unrelated, or because the owner and Smart Doll were simply too small or too far apart in the frame. \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block paragraph-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e I’ve seen so many awesome selfies shared online over the years, but I can only use photos when you’ve given us permission directly. Sending your selfie to our support email lets us know you’re happy for us to include it. \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block paragraph-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e One of my fave things about these collages is that they’ve helped me recognize many of you when we meet at conventions outside Japan. It’s always nice to put a face to the person behind the Smart Doll. \u003c\/div\u003e \u003c\/section\u003e \u003csection class=\"block paragraph-block\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"content\"\u003e There’s no submission deadline right now. As entries come in, we’ll get a better idea of how many spaces we have available.
