The Centaur prototype from the 2020 April Fools is up for grabs. Corona changed our lives and business and we simply don't have the resources to proceed with this project anymore :-(

We only made one prototype which has been sitting on our 5th floor and I thought it was about time that somebody gave her a better home.

This particular project took 6 months to complete which involved 3D modeling, frame design, finishing and painting. The frame design was going to take much more time for mass production so we had to simplify it to meet the April Fools deadline.

The high price point and high risk of owning this product means that I should try to talk you out of buying this.

  1.  It is recommended that a handicraft ninja pick up this item as it will need some special care - it is not a super-articulated action figure that you can easily pose. If you are a dab hand at restoring anything then this could be a project for you.
  2. From the photos, you can see there are cracks and paint chips on the body. You will need your handicraft mana to fix her up. If you put pressure on the cracks, the cracks could get worse.
  3. The joints are loose and you will need the patience of a saint to pose her standing straight out of the box. Joints can be modified with some of your handicraft mana.
  4. The front legs can move back n forth but not the hind legs without modification. The hind legs do move at the knees though.
  5. If the front legs come off, you need to position them at a particular angle before they can be put back.
  6. There is no internal frame as such - only some parts of the Smart Doll frame used to facilitate articulation.
  7. Everything up until the torso is 3D printed and then painted. Even though the centaur's private area is located at the back of the horse, you should still use the Greek Mythology Sports Bra undies to cover her navel because she still gets shy when it's exposed.
  8. The bust can be swapped out for any size you want (leave a note) but the bottom of the spine currently slots into a socket inside the torso without much resistance. this means if you pick up the centaur by the torso, the body is likely to drop on the floor leaving you crying.
  9. There are paint ships here and there and the cracks on the body are very visible.
  10. We used blu-tac on the joints but you can use your handicraft mana to increase the thickness of the joints.
  11. This is a prototype and not a product. You should not expect to buy this expecting to be able to play with it out of the box - you will see cracks, paint chips and the foot may fall off when you unbox.
  12. We will pack the centaur with as much padding as possible.
  13. You can choose whatever cinnamon head we have - even unreleased non-licensed ones. Just leave a note. Also, leave a note as to what wig you want. We cant change the color of the tail so take note if you choose a non-black wig.
  14. You cant choose tea or cocoa because the torso is painted cinnamon. Well, you can if you want but it will look odd. The cinnamon painted torso is not an exact match with the cinnamon vinyl.
  15. Lastly - you should not buy this due to heavy disappointment.
  16. Another lastly - send the link of this page to as many people as possible and they will automatically tell you it's not worth buying.

About Candidates

Candidates are prototypes of a certain character that we felt didn't have enough mana to make it to market, and thus decided to let them go to a better home. Putting a character into production is a commitment that takes a lot of resources in terms of time and energy.

Candidate quality is usually the same as product quality unless otherwise mentioned.

About 3D Prints

Some items in the garage, if they're 3D prints, will be indicated as such on their product detail page. Expect 3D prints to have a textured appearance, characterized by visible stepping lines that encompass the entire surface. These prints might also display dents and scratches. Due to their nature, 3D prints can be brittle, so handle them with care.

3D printed heads typically come with a larger neck hole. To address this, you might consider using blutac or wrapping masking tape around the neck peg. However, we can't guarantee that these methods will prevent the spinning head of doom.

Avoid washing or wetting the face, as this could potentially cause the paint to smudge.

Please be aware that certain products might eventually be released to the market at a price substantially lower than what you paid for the master or prototype. Refunds won't be provided in these situations.

Any additional items shown in photos, like walls, tables, and humans, are not part of the purchase.
