The Vision behind Smart Doll
Smart Doll was inspired by our mascot character, Mirai, which means “future” in Japanese. In the early days of our startup, I introduced the slogan “With Smart Doll, the future is in your hands”—a phrase that carried more than one meaning.
On the surface, it was simple: when you hold a Smart Doll, you hold the future (Mirai) in your hands. But beyond that, it reflected a vision for a future where products celebrate the diversity of humanity rather than conforming to a narrow standard. A future where quality and longevity matter more than mass production, and where businesses value their employees as much as their customers.
