The project name for this was called “nice bra” because I couldn't think of a name for it during production. One day when I stopped by Apparel Dev I saw this on a girl with L bust and immediately said "oooohh thats a nice bra!" so the name stuck.

The project took way longer than expected though. The challenge was the 3 straps on the sides of the bra and shorts. Making prototypes is easy but making products for mass production is a completely different story.

Getting thousands of these to look exactly the same was the challenge - length and tension of the straps, placement of label so that its not wonky etc - and all on stretchy material. Stretchy material is difficult to work with because as you push it through the machine, the material can start to stretch and go wonky.

Good thing we make our stuff in Japan! Our folks in Kyushu Japan done another superb job and I just love it! My Melody at home is wearing it now.

Wear it on its own or as part of "beach casual" with some short jeans and a cardigan. Fits up to XXL busts. Some of the photos show what it looks like on the up and coming L headlight-less bust.
