Introducing "No Body But Me" - a Smart Doll character that has... no body.

The clue is in the name. Literally.

This is an experimental product with only 10 slots available for now while we work through workflow, logistics, website UX, and customer expectations.

Important: This product does NOT include a Smart Doll body.

"No Body But Me" is intended for folks who only want the character head. Each order includes:

- Painted head

- Eyes installed via cradle
- Head cap
- Wig

A body is NOT included. The product name literally contains "No Body," but we're mentioning it again anyway just to be safe. :-)

To request a specific character, please first check that the character is currently available on the website. The available quantity for each character is shown on its product page.

Once you have confirmed availability, please leave the following information in the order notes during checkout:

- Character name

- Skin tone (Tea, Cinnamon, Cocoa, etc.)
- Body type you intend to use the head with (Classic, Pear, Guy, etc.)

If no character name is provided in the order notes:

- A random character head will be selected and shipped.

- We do not check previous order history when selecting random characters.
- We cannot guarantee that the random character will be different from characters you already own.

If the skin tone or intended body type is not specified, we may need to contact you before processing your order, which could delay shipment.

Please ensure the character and skin tone you request are currently available before placing your order. If the requested combination is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss alternatives - which could delay shipment :-)

As this is a new experimental offering, the process may evolve over time based on feedback and operational requirements.

Why Are We Doing This?

We regularly hear from customers who only need a head for a variety of reasons. Some already have a body and want a different character. Others have inherited a body, want to save on shipping costs, or simply do not have room for another complete Smart Doll at home.

Until now, these requests have been handled manually through customer support. While that worked, it was not particularly efficient for either side and often involved additional back-and-forth communication.

“No Body But Me” is our first attempt at making the process more accessible. It’s still experimental and will likely evolve over time, but we believe it’s already an improvement over the manual process that came before it.
