I don't like calling them wigs so once upon a time I called these items "hair styles" - but then people bought these wigs thinking that they came with a Smart Doll...

If you are buying a Smart Doll for the first time then you do not need to buy additional wigs because your Smart Doll already comes with one. Only buy additional if you want to change the hair style.

Wigs are not always available to buy separately because if we sell too many then we wont have enough to go around to sell Smart Dolls. Wigs require the most development time because they do not have a shape but only a style. Most of our components (Smart Doll, vinyl parts and apparel items) have a mold or cutter involved that can define a shape - wigs however are made by measuring the length and weight and then stitching manually to the wig cap. Each wig then needs to be steamed and cut. Check this video to see how our wigs are made.
