This limited edition classic body uncut sofubi set is crafted from excess yellow sofubi available at our casting facility, and we do not plan to produce any more of these. The set includes 1 x G07 and 1 x Hikari head; please note that no headcap is included.
It’s important to mention that the bust and hands in this set are made from hard grade sofubi, which is typically softer in other sets. Due to the limited availability of a single can of yellow sofubi—these parts are harder and less versatile than their usually soft counterparts.
This change in material affects functionality; for example, the head may not grip onto the bust as securely as it would with a softer bust. Additionally, the hands will require heating before they can be removed from or attached to the frame.

Our vinyl components are made using slush casting, which has its pros and cons. On the plus side, mold costs are lower than injection molds, lead times are short, and parts are seamless. On the flip side, the process is labor-intensive, has a high failure rate, and trimming the excess material (flash) requires skill and experience.
We want to offer more parts, but we simply don’t have the manpower to process everything. Chaos Directors Uncut is a way to make these components available to folks confident in their DIY skills.
Cutting vinyl is not as easy as it looks, and results will likely differ from parts finished by our team. You will need a sharp craft knife or scalpel, and for harder parts, some way to warm the vinyl (such as a hairdryer) to make it easier to cut.
There is a real risk of injury when using sharp tools, so please take care - especially around others and pets. Overcut parts cannot be repaired.
