The term "Envisage" is described as "to contemplate or conceive of as a possibility or a desirable future event" and is the visualization tool that I have used throughout my career.
Without envisioning the future, I would not have been able to create a career for myself in Japan and most certainly would not have been able to create Smart Doll from the mere thought "I want to create my own brand of fashion doll."
We all have the ability to envisage the future but the way we go about it makes the world of difference and affects how our goals manifest into reality.
Envisioning the future is an ability humans evolved which enabled us to advance from roaming the savanna as hunter gatherers to roaming the universe as space wo/men. Envisioning something that didn't previously exist is a blueprint to creating that something.
We all have goals in life - whether it's a dream job or starting up your own gig making products - we need to first envisage what living that goal will be like in as much detail as possible.
When envisaging a goal, you need to visualize everything down to the last minute detail - Where will you be? What can you see and hear around you? What is the temperature like? Is it dark or bright, windy, rainy? Who will you be with? What do they look like and how do you interact with them? What will you be doing and what sort of tools or furniture or objects are around you?
What sort of emotions will you be feeling once you reached your goals?
Once you have visualized all these details then you will be able to roam around as your future you in the vision that you just created. You will be able to walk over to the wooden table by the window with thin see-through gray curtains and pick up the green thick book and read what's written inside. You will feel the breeze of the cool evening air and hear the chirp of birds flying overhead as the setting sun soaks the evening sky in deep orange.
This detailed vision of your future will naturally drive you towards your goal and empower you with the will to put in the hard work involved in realizing your dreams. You will favor discomfort, the unknown and change rather than stay in the comfort zone. You will become relentless and get up each time you stumble - and stumble you will.
1 million years ago, early humans didn't understand what fire was and how it worked but they went with what they knew which was that it kept them warm and made meat easier to chew.
If you have ever studied quantum mechanics then you will know that there is still much about the reality that we live in that we don't quite understand. But even though we don't understand it - we work with what we know and apply it to the technology that touches our every day lives (computing, GPS, MRI etc).
I can't give you a scientific explanation of how envisioning the future can power our will to forge forward - but what I can do is continue to share my story of how envisioning the future became a brand of fashion dolls called Smart Doll.
With Smart Doll, the future is in your hands.

The wig that comes with this character is designed with a "turnover" construction allowing the hair to be swept back while minimizing the amount of wig cap showing.
The challenge with this design is the initial difficulty in putting it on. On the upside, it ensures the wig stays firmly in place, minimizing the chances of it being whisked up by the wind and landing in dog poo.
For those with arthritis or similar conditions, it's worth noting that you can leave a note with your order requesting that the wig be attached prior to shipping. We typically add double-sided tape beneath the wig for an added layer of security, but be aware this may leave residue between the head and the wig cap. Check out the video below to see how to attach the wig.
The wig, similar to any tight-fitting apparel, can leave indentations on the vinyl. While all our wigs can cause such marks, this wig tends to produce deeper and more noticeable indentations due to its construction that does not employ elastic - photos on this page are an example.
The styling oil used for the wig might sometimes permeate the wig cap, producing a residue on the head. This residue can appear dark, but it's typically the oil rather than an ink stain.
It might be possible to mitigate some of these indentations by employing a hair dryer and rubbing with some thinner (like the Mr Hobby type shown in the photo). However, outcomes are not guaranteed. If you're planning to keep the wig on perpetually, these concerns may be negligible. But if they pose a potential problem, reconsidering your purchase might be in order. It's worth noting that we don't allow options to select specific wigs, omit the wig from the order, or adjust the cost by excluding the wig's value.
