INTRODUCTION

Introducing Smart Doll Vision - a new line of glasses for Smart Doll - each handcrafted by craftsmen (and women) in the city of Fukui Japan - a city known for its glasses industry.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The first in the series is called “Kanata Megane” (“Megane” pronounced “Meh-gar-ney” meaning “glasses” in Japanese) and is designed for one of our characters called Kanata Hoshikawa.
The frame material is called Beta Titanium - a strong but flexible alloy. While its not indestructible - its very resilient and bendy as you can see from the photos.

These glasses have been molded and designed to exclusively fit Smart Doll - the arms (also called Temple) slide beneath the wig cap just above the ears - check the photos to see how they should fit on the head. May not fit snug if you are using with a non Smart Doll wig.
The under-rim design is based on what manga and anime artists mainly use for their characters - this is because if glasses were full rim then the top rim would obstruct the eye and interfere with the characters expression.

TAKE NOTE

When you are taking your Smart Doll guys or girls out n about, make sure the glasses are a snug fit or they may fall off. Where possible, have the nose pads only ever so slightly touch the face and never leave the glasses on in a situation where the face is likely to have pressure put on it for whatever reason as the nose pads may leave marks on the face - if that happens then you may cry.



Joke. You can either try to remove the marks using a hairdryer to heat the area or rubbing melamine sponge on it every so slightly. If that does not work then you may really cry - just like the devil.

Also, when removing the glasses make sure you do so slowly or the arms may scratch the face.

 The glasses will fit all Smart Doll’s including licensed models. The glasses are *not* designed to fit dolls made by other companies - if you attempt to put these on them then they have a high possibility of breaking which will also end your warranty.

どうせ作るなら今までにないファッションドールメガネを作ろう。作るなら日本国内の福井で作ろう。スマートドール専用メガネシリーズ「スマートドールビジョン」です。今回はメガネメーカーONBEATさんとコラボして最高のファッションドールメガネ体験をお届けします。
第一弾は「カナタメガネ」。弊社のキャラクター星河かなた用で作りました。素材名称は「β-TITANIUM」: チタン、アルミ、バナジウムの合金です。材料厚みは0.5ミリでチタン同様に軽い。チタンより高強度で、弾力性があります。無敵で壊れないわけではないですが、スマートドール用で使うなら壊れにくい。

商品仕様

スマートドール頭部のフォルムに沿って設計し、固定するにはウィッグキャップの下に差し込む仕様になっています。これによりフィット感は良好で安定しています。他社のウィッグと併用するとメガネはちゃんと固定できないかもしれません。フレームはアニメや漫画作画に優しいアンダーリム仕様に。

別売のレンズについて

ユーザーさんに「レンズはつけた方がいい？」と聞いたところ、過半数は「つけても使わない」と答えたので、フレームの販売価格を下げ、レンズを別売にしました。このページに載せてあるレンズ写真は参考用なのでご注意ください。レンスは別売です！
アンダーリムのデザインなので、レンズは取り付け簡単。

僕は個人的にレンズはつけていないです。写真を撮るときにアイの妨げになりますし、反射します。プロの写真家なら反射対策はできると思いますが。

サンガラスレンズについて

サンガラスレンズならアイの邪魔はもしくはしてほしい！サンガラスレンズはいろんな色で2018年夏後半ぐらい出ます。

注意事項

メガネをかけたままスマートドールを外に連れて行く場合は、メガネはちゃんとつけているのを確認してからお出かけください。メガネのテンプル(アーム)がウィッグキャップの下（耳の上あたり）に差し込んでください。スマートドール 純正のウィッグでない場合はうまく差し込みできないかもしれない。
顔がなんらかの理由で直撃するような場面に置かれると、メガネの鼻パッドが顔に傷づくかもしれないのでご注意を。鼻パッドが若干顔に触れる程度でメガネの位置を調整してください。メガネを使わない時にゆっくりと外してください。
