As a business owner - and I'm sure any business owner will tell you the same - experiencing poo hitting the fan on a daily basis can be debilitating - enough to make me wonder whether this is all worth it.

But then I take a look at our Smart Doll girls and say to myself, "yes they are worth it" ;-)

Poo hitting the fan is unpleasant - it gets flung in all directions and sometimes gets in your mouth. It's most unpleasant when the poo is of the "after-a-night-of-spicy-food" variety. When the poo has undigested corn, the corn can also cause dents on furniture.

Actually, there is something more unpleasant than the "after-a-night-of-spicy-curry" - it's when poo dries and starts to get all powdery - it gets in the coffee but does not taste like cinnamon topping at all.

However, dealing with all this poo has helped shape the business and product into what it is today.
So when people say, "you are so full of poo!" I say, "actually - I am!"

Saying that my Smart Doll helps me to keep calm and carry on is no exaggeration ;-)

Things to note about prints

While some tees might not have perfectly centered graphics, a simple twist once on your Smart Doll can make it look just right (image 2 above).

Sublimation printing works by converting solid dye into gas that bonds directly with the fibers. On smooth surfaces like paper, this produces razor-sharp detail, but on fabric the weave and fiber composition soften the look. Polyester fibers have polymers that open under heat, allowing the gas to chemically bond and lock in color. Cotton fibers, however, don’t bond in the same way — so the design may appear less crisp, with the natural texture of the fabric adding to the effect (image 1 above).

Unlike traditional surface prints, sublimation becomes part of the garment itself. That means the artwork won’t crack or peel, and the shirt stays light, breathable, and comfortable — with a finish that’s made to be worn, not just looked at.

We don’t own DHL or FedEx (yet), and sadly we don’t have cosmic powers to control delivery dates or import taxes. Once a package leaves Japan, timing and duties are handled by the courier and your local customs office.
