We’ve recently been experimenting with different T-shirt styles and found that these baggy plaid/check shirts add just the right touch when layered over a tee with jeans. They also work nicely styled around the waist for a laid-back, effortless look.

Made from 100% cotton, each shirt has been given a wash after sewing to create a slightly crumpled, relaxed texture that feels lived-in from day one.

Although originally designed to be roomy for our classic girls, the shirt also fits Pear girls and guys comfortably – and the buttons can still be done up on those body types too. As shown in the photos, when tying it around the waist of a classic girl, the front buttons and cuff snaps help keep everything neatly in place.

Reasons Not to Buy

You could probably buy around ten human-sized plaid shirts from Walmart for the same price—and if you’re handy with scissors and a sewing machine, you might even be able to cut those up and make a hundred Smart Doll-sized ones yourself.

This plaid shirt does kinda look like a plaid handkerchief - so if you blow your nose in it by accident and get your Smart Doll to wear it - they most certainly will slap you.
