While the head and hands will be vinyl - you have a choice of two different types of body - one is referred to as Cortex and the other as Vinyl. Both body types are pre-built.
This is a full set of uncut sofubi for assembling a Smart Doll girl’s classic body. It includes 1 x G07 and 1 x Hikari 2 clear head, plus 1 x cyborg headcap. Although we don’t have clear frames available this time, you can pair the clear body with other skin tone frames.
We produce clear sofubi based on our research and development needs. Clear sofubi allows us to observe the internal frame’s behavior under stress, particularly at each part and joint. This visibility helps us identify collision areas within the sofubi, enabling us to enhance future frame designs for improved articulation and durability.
Please note, clear sofubi is matte and might display slush, drips, and air bubbles, which are typical of the Slush Casting process. These imperfections are more visible in clear sofubi but occur in all vinyl parts. If you prefer a more transparent finish, you can apply a clear topcoat spray. Be aware that sofubi parts may appear slightly yellow and could further yellow over time due to oxidation—a solution might be relocation to Mars, where the atmosphere contains only 0.13% oxygen.
Lastly, be prepared for a strong vinyl smell with clear sofubi, which might lessen or disappear over time. We recommend airing the sofubi outdoors before proceeding with the cutting of the pieces.

On the flip side, the process is labor-intensive, has a high failure rate, and trimming the excess material (flash) requires skill and experience.
We want to offer more parts, but we simply don’t have the manpower to process everything. Chaos Directors Uncut is a way to make these components available to folks confident in their DIY skills.

Cutting vinyl is not as easy as it looks, and results will likely differ from parts finished by our team. You will need a sharp craft knife or scalpel, and for harder parts, some way to warm the vinyl (such as a hairdryer) to make it easier to cut.
