About the M02 sculpt blemishes

If you’ve been following the journey of the Pear Anime sculpt, you’ll know we faced challenges electroplating the master model. After three failed attempts, we decided to proceed with the fourth attempt, despite some surface imperfections we would have preferred to avoid.

I approved the M02 sculpt (which this character uses) for production because the blemishes are located in less visible areas. They appear as small, round dents under the chin, which may be more noticeable if you frequently view your characters from below. Additionally, the neck recess—similar to many of our other sculpts—has slight bulges, and there’s a small imperfection behind the left ear. Image 3 also demonstrates how the head cap is smaller than the circumference of the head.

Image 4 reveals a blemish around the eyehole. While our eye design strategically conceals this imperfection, it may still be visible depending on how it catches the light.

Transparency is important to us, and we want to avoid situations where customers might feel disappointed or regret their purchase due to unexpected imperfections. Please keep this in mind when considering adding this character to your collection.

The Milk skin tone is prone to visible discoloration over time and may not match older parts due to oxidation. Even within the same batch, slight hue differences can occur. Our new frame also has a subtle pinkish cast due to material changes. These aren’t flaws—they’re inherent to how this tone ages and behaves.

If you’re particular about color consistency, we strongly recommend holding off.
