The three meanings of Singularity

When you do a Google for the term "Singularity," most of the results cover three meanings.

Technological Singularity - a tipping point in the future where technological growth becomes so advanced that its influence will forever change human civilization. This usually refers to AI (Artificial Intelligence), which would be able to make decisions for itself. Whether those decisions are good or bad for humans is a highly debated topic.

Gravitational Singularity - a one-dimensional location in spacetime that contains a large mass in an infinitely small space. Density and gravity become infinite and all laws of physics as we know it breaks down.

Interstellar Singularity - the leader of the Interstellarians. Interstellarians had to evacuate their home planet Gotandoloria which imploded during the Slingshot Ripple Spacetime Shift. Only a handful of Interstellarians managed to escape the implosion that set them on a journey to seek another habitable planet.

The Interstellarians discovered Earth by chance from an entangled quantum distress signal. They set a course for the blue planet to discover upon arrival that the entire planet was inhabited by humans enslaved by a breed of beings known as The Entitled. The distress signal was sent by Earth's last band of small freedom fighters - the Solar Marines.

Before the Interstellarians fled Gotandoloria, they managed to take with them several pods of Gotanite - enough to power their ships and weapons for over 10 thousand years. Gotanite is used to create the weapon of choice for Interstellarians - the Quantum Cannon that can create an Event Horizon portal that sends anything entering it to the most dangerous place in the universe - The Entitled Zone.

The Entitled Zone is a mirror universe where Karma Force generated by muons immediately reflects the actions of The Entitled - meaning that The Entitled are treated in the exact way they treat others - for all eternity.

The heavily outnumbered Solar Marines joined forces with the Interstellarians to stand up against the tyranny of The Entitled in the battle that would be known throughout the universe as Vanquish The Entitled...

About Interstellar Blue

2022/05/20 update : As the blue run nears its end, we want to squeeze out a few more blue Smart Dolls but in order to do so we need to swap the head cap to orange.
From today, any blue dolls ordered on the Smart Doll online store will come with an orange head cap. Please do not buy if this bothers you ;-)

Production of the interstellar blue skintone ended up being more of a burden than originally planned in terms of workflow, inventory management (moisture, light control), factory schedule planning and so on. We can only make blue at the sacrifice of the other skin tones in small batches.

We are more forgiving in terms of blemish checks for Interstellar Blue. A blemish that may get rejected in other skin tones may be approved for sale.

Blue characters and vinyl option parts will have a higher price point. The caveat is that if we feel the team is getting slammed, we will release less than originally planned (hey that rhymes!) Remember that an overworked employee building a doll is never a good sign as their broken soul would possess a Smart Doll which would come after you while you sleep.

Wig Characteristics

Smart Doll wigs are shaped by hand—not by mold—so variation is natural. You may notice differences in thickness, alignment, or shape from one wig to the next. Some may appear “balding” in spots or shed small amounts of hair when first opened and with continued use. Tight fits can leave marks on the head, and a bit of styling oil residue is also expected. Slush-Cast Vinyl Body & Frame System

The Smart Doll body is made from sofubi (soft vinyl) using a hands-on process called slush casting. This naturally results in variations such as asymmetry, flow lines, air bubbles, and differences in surface texture. The head cap may not match the body color exactly or fit perfectly. These traits are inherent to working with soft vinyl and are part of the handcrafted nature of the product. (images 5 - 8)

Intentional Asymmetry in Face Design

Just like real human faces, Smart Doll faces are intentionally asymmetrical. From the 3D sculpt to the final brush stroke, no two are exactly alike. Hand-painted features such as eyeliner, lashes, and blush will differ slightly in size, shape, and placement.
