The three-piece Mori Girl set (comprised of a long outer shirt, baggy T-shirt, and wide flare bottoms) is back in a pastel shade.

Mori Girl (森ガール) is a Japanese fashion style that depicts "a girl living in the forest wearing loose-fitting earthly colored fabrics that blend in with the surroundings."

While the pastel shade is a terrible choice for blending in the forest to hide from Predators that Arnold Schwarzenegger let get away, I think the new palette suits the three-piece set rather well.

The outer shirt and wide flare bottoms have gone through a weathering and bio wash to give them a soft natural wrinkly look. While the three items look great together, the baggy T-shirt looks great on its own with a pair of panties when lounging around at home or with a pair of jeans.

The Mori Girl set goes rather well with a low-hung dog tag and the Bucket Hat.

If you are looking for a relaxed, carefree aesthetic for your Smart Doll, this may be the item to get - but take note of the reasons not to buy before you decide. Made in Gifu Japan.

Reasons Not To Buy

  1. As the bottoms and outer shirt have gone through a session of weathering, even if you buy two sets, the wrinkles and any holes or loose threads will not be in the exact same place.
  2. Because the bottoms have a wide flare design, they may look like a skirt depending on how you pose the legs - this may be good or bad depending on what sort of aesthetic you want.
  3. Not ideal for deep-sea diving.
  4. Cannot be used to store air for diving.
  5. You could instead buy 17 bags of "Nishiki Medium Grain Rice, 10 lb" from Walmart.
  6. Cannot be used as a substitute for rice when making sushi.
  7. Nutritional value is very low - even when served with raw salmon. 
  8. Smart Doll, boots, stairs, sky, mountains, boats and other humans can be seen in the photos but are not included.
