Due to the nature of sofubi material—especially soft-grade parts—they can sometimes get squished during transit. In most cases, simply releasing them from the box allows them to return to their original shape over time. If you’re in a colder environment, using a hairdryer can help activate the plastic’s memory and speed up the process.
Additionally, if parts are pressed together during shipping, shiny surfaces may appear where they made contact. A melamine sponge can be used to gently buff these areas back to their original finish.
