FedEx Shipping - Recipient Account Required for Import Charges
We are updating our FedEx shipping policy for international orders due to recurring post-shipment billing issues relating to import charges.
When selecting FedEx at checkout, you will pay the shipping cost to us as usual. However, all import-related charges must now be billed directly to the recipient’s own FedEx account.
If you select FedEx:
• You must provide a valid FedEx account number in the order notes at checkout.
• Duties, taxes, clearance fees, and any additional FedEx import-related charges will be billed directly to your FedEx account.
• We do not accept rebilling of duties, taxes, or clearance charges from FedEx under any circumstances.
If you do not have a FedEx account, you will need to apply directly with FedEx in your country. If you are unable or prefer not to open a FedEx account, please select DHL at checkout instead.
If a valid FedEx account number is not provided, or if the account details are incorrect, your order will be placed on hold. We will need to contact you to resolve the issue before shipment, which may result in delays.
If FedEx is unable to collect payment from the recipient account, the shipment may be held, returned, or subject to additional fees. Any such fees remain the customer’s responsibility.
To prevent recurring billing issues, any outstanding FedEx import charges or unresolved delivery matters must be fully settled before we can dispatch subsequent orders. Orders placed while a prior FedEx shipment remains unresolved will be placed on hold until the matter is cleared.
This change applies to FedEx shipments only. DHL shipments continue as normal and do not require a carrier account number.
This update ensures that import costs are handled directly between FedEx and the recipient and allows us to avoid post-shipment billing exposure beyond our control.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
